(USS Illuminar - Deck 1 - Bridge - CO, Captain Sekal - 0805)

The CO's arrival on the bridge had been brisk and he was still receiving
reports when his 2/0 came up with the most intriguing one yet.

“Captain, something unusual is on a moons sized asteroid at 07 mark 38.4
mark 87.2,”

He took the padd she handed him and began scanning it as she spoke.

“It appears that there are a series of buildings that have been constructed
on the asteroid.  Could be a colony, however there are no life signs.”

He turned in the command chair to look toward science. "Doctor Gralen, have
you seen the structures being scanned by Security?"

"I heard the coordinates, scanning now."

Sekal sat back as the scientist began reading through his scans. "Buildings
as noted, a complex of nearly a dozen, the material used in construction is
a silicate, possibly like our synth-crete. I've got minimal energy readings
with an interior atmosphere that is too thin to breathe. Primarily nitrogen
and CO2, very little oxygen, not breathable even if it were thicker."

"Temperature?"

"A mite chill but not dangerous, five degrees centigrade."

T'Mur spoke up. “I would recommend that we send an away team to have a
look. It may give us some clues as to what lays ahead.”

He nodded. "Agreed. Form an away team Lieutenant Commander. Helm move us to
those coordinates. Prepare for an away detail."
