(USS Illuminar – Deck 2 – Officers Mess Pilot Ensign Pihi Piripi – 0840)



“Are you a secret agent?” Pihi asked.  Leaning in, she asked “Section 31?”
shs said in a conspiral tone.



Sitting back, “Or you can’t tell me because it’s classified.  You’d have to
kill me if you told me,” she chuckled.



“Your work honestly sounds more exciting.  A chemical in the water?  That
must have been scary.  I know if I am without my VISOR, it’s unnerving.  I
mean, I didn’t get it till I was 5, so I learned a lot of ways to
compensate, but still now, I see so much.  The universe is so beautiful
when you sit and look.”



She sipped her tea, “I’ve been flying since I was a teenager. My
grandfather taught me, it was a way to free myself from the ground. Right
now I am trying to learn the unique characteristics of the ship. Every ship
has its quirks, and a good pilot knows what those are.”



“How long have you been on the ship?”
