(USS Illuminar – Deck 2 – Officers Mess – Pilot Ensign Pihi ‘Kestral’
Piripi – 0835))



Pihi heard footsteps approaching and looked up.  It was Lieutenant Trei,
who she met on Deep Space 4.  Not her finest hour, she had to admit.



The woman looked at the meal that the security officer ordered. Her
headache returned at the smell of the bacon.



Pihi sipped her tea and looked up when Trei asked, “How are you doing
Pihi?”



Putting her cup down, she forced a smile, “I am cleared for duty,” she
said. “Otherwise I am fine,” she lied.



“How are you doing?  You missed our little adventure/predicament.  It
wasn’t fun.  How did you occupy yourself?”
