NRPG: Massage the times as needed. The job of the compiler can be difficult
and giving them needed leeway is vitally important.
Mission: Soliloquy
Day: 6
Stardate: 2446.07.10
(USS Raptor - Deck 5 - Sickbay - FSXO, Lieutenant Tempest Greywolf - 0624)
She saw him look over at them and the pseudo disgusted look he attempted to
paint on his face. It was their job but she didn't feel like being
browbeaten or coddled. By the time he got to them she had folded her arms
and was returning his glare.
“Lt. Greywolf, who gave you permission to get out of your bed?”
"Excuse me doctor but I'm no toddler and I don't need anyone's permission
to get up and check on my pilot. If you disagree you can save yourself some
time and kick me out of sickbay. That would save both of us a lot of
trouble." By the time she had finished she was on her feet.
He grumbled and snarled a bit at the affrontery and her no-nonsense manners
until biting his tongue he got to the matter at hand.
“How are you feeling Tempest?” he growled.
The Cherokee woman didn't hem and haw around. "Like I could eat yan'si
whole and drink a mountain stream dry. Other than that my fingers tingle
like electricity is running through them." She held up her left hand before
him.
(Reply: Kyllee)
He sighed. "You can leave sickbay, if you promise to rest for the rest of
today. If I find you on the flight deck I’m gonna haul you back here and
bind you to a bed. Clear? That tingling in your fingers is a good sign of
healing.”
"Don't threaten my duty doctor, if the Captain directs me to fly then I
will do as he orders and you can argue orders with him." The corners of her
lips turned up slightly, Stev was doing his duty in the best way he knew
how and she was angry because she was famished, she should back down a bit.
"I promise to eat and rest as much as the ship allows."
(Reply: Stev)
