(USS Raptor – Deck 5 – Sickbay Pilot Ensign Pihi ‘Kestral’ Piripi – 0620)



“Yes Ensign, the plan worked and we are home, at least as close as
sickbay.  How are you feeling?”



“As if I have been stung by a BlueBottle Jellyfish, lots of stings all over
my body,” she replied.  “That or I’m getting shorts in the VISOR.
Hopefully the doctors can check that out.  I could also use a bowl of my
mothers boilup and some takakau.  Good filling and comfort food.”



Greywolf replied, “I want a thick steak, a bowl of beans and a large glass
of tea.  No pemmican and kernnels of corn for me, I’m not that
old-fashioned of an Indian.”



Pihi chuckled, “I am sorry Lieutenant.  I don’t know much about your
culture or way of life. It wasn’t something I learned in New Zealand.”



Tempest chuckled.



“Perhaps Lieutenant, if we have time, you might teach me about your culture
and more about the ship?”
