The Vulcan looked up from the chair at the call, his eyes rimmed with pale
green due to pain and a lack of proper sleep.

"Doctor."

“The Abnormality that is making people sick has crossed isolation lines.
Dr. Vanderstein is in a coma.  The abnormality is in her bloodstream.  I
wish I knew what this was.”

"We can now assist you in that regard." He inclined his head toward Zara.
"We have isolated the agent responsible." He straightened in the chair.
"Ensign Khatri was about to bring you the report along with our
recommendations however now is a convenient time." He glanced over to Zara.
"Ensign, the report please."
