(USS Hillary - Passenger Deck - CEO - Lieutenant Jg Tegian Pex - 0915)

Tegian was sitting in the Hillary trying to get the transporter to
successfully send and receive something back that didn't resemble a melted
lump.  They'd managed to get a lock between the two transporters, but the
ionic disturbances in the atmosphere were so severely changing that the
computers couldn't compensate adequately even with the energy boost.  But,
they were getting closer with each test.

He'd sent Ensign Waffles out to adjust Beacon 14's output.  They were
supposed to be adjustable from the Hillary and he'd been able to adjust a
lot of the beacons without issue, but 14 wasn't cooperating.

He heard Montero over his comm badge and from the Flight Deck.

=^=Lieutenant Pex, Ensign Khatri, the ion storm has increased in strength.
Commander Solice and the Pasteur are heading back here. Please wrap up your
experiments and get your teams inside.=^=

Tegian smiled and called out, "Acknowledged.  I'll get Ensign Waffles back."

He hit his comm badge.  "Ensign Waffles, please return to the Hillary as
soon as you can.  If Beacon 14 won't cooperate, forget about it for now.
We'll replace it after the storm."

=^= Affirmative, Lieutenant.  Making my way back now.  =^=

"And if you see Ensign Khatri out there, please bring her along."
