ILLUMINARRPG: (4-1122) Csec/Tac- Lt. Commander T’Mur

Mission: Exogenesis

Day: 4

Stardate: 2446.06.04



(Ixtal - Deck 1 - Bridge - Csec/Tac-  Lt. Commander T’Mur - 1122)


T’Mur sat at the helm controls and began to bring power to them.  It was as if everything on the ship had been set in what Sienna might call “sleep mode.”  Meaning they were rendered inactive purposefully.  It didn’t take long for her to get them back up and functional.


"Communications will be a priority once we are clear of the interference," Sekal said to her.


“Logical,” was all she said.


Then she accessed the maneuvering thrusters.  The ship shuddered as it worked at pulling away from the gravitational influence of the planet and the electromagnetic interference of the ionic storm, which seemed to be on an ebb.  As the ship began to back away from its position Sekal attempted to get control of the command functions. Suddenly a klaxon began to scream at them, and a red alert flashed.


[Unauthorized override access request detected. Self-destruct has been initiated. Self-destruct in 10 minutes.]


Sekal tried again. "Computer, Star Fleet command override Alpha, Ceti 3, code blue, subset 5A."


[Unauthorized override request, self-destruct in 8 minutes.]


That was bad.  It seemed every time he tried to gain access the time of the self-destruct decreased.


"All personnel evacuate to the shuttle immediately."


The teams confirmed their orders.  T’Mur locked down the guidance system again, shaking her head, and headed to the turbo lift with Sekal right behind her.


As they stepped onto the lift T’Mur stated the obvious, “That did not go as well as I had planned.”

As they stepped off the turbo lift they ran down the corridor towards the access hatch that led to the shuttle.  T’Mur opened the hatch and they moved to the pilot controls, preparing the shuttle to leave as the others arrived.


She tapped her comm badge, “T’Mur to away team, we must evacuate in the next three minutes.”
