Tavay stepped out onto the Ixhal along with Dr. Kylle. She made sure he was within a grasp of her hand, “We best be moving along, Dear.” Tavay said. She kept one hand ready to grab Stev and the other ready to grab a phaser.
“Of course,” Stev smiled. “Whatever you say, Honey.”
“Perhaps you should let me take the lead, Dr.” Tavay started, “You never know what is around the corner.”
Kyllee paused mid step and frowned. The eerie feeling was way too similar to the Rhyne. He ushered her to lead on.
(Ixhal - Sickbay – MO - Dr. Kyllee Stev and Operations Backup Officer Ensign Tavay -- 1119)
Stev followed Tavay to the medical center of the ship. He couldn’t shake that familiar feeling and sense of doom. It was times like these that he wished he had the belief in the prophets he used to have… before. When they entered Tavay stopped short and Stev nearly fell over her.
Tavay stopped at the entry into sickbay. She had never seen so much death before. Her grandparents, who were ex-Tal Shiar, had spent time trying to get her use to the carnage but nothing could prepare her for this scene. A room full of death.
“What’d you stop so…” his voice trailed off as he began to scan the room with his eyes. There were a dozen bodies, some laying on what could only be described as biobeds, some sitting on the floor. None of them were alive. The ones on the floor look like been looking for a place to die.
“It is a shame. So much death.” Tavay made herself more alert to her surroundings. “Doctor, Do you know what you are looking for?” she asked. She thought maybe she could help.
Stev shook his head. “I didn’t know before this. Now I’m even less certain. I suppose now we’re looking for any medical reports. Any clues as to what went on here.”
He tapped his comm badge, “Kyllee to Captain Sekal, I believe I may know where most of the crew are.”
(reply Sekal)
“There are twelve Tellerites here in the med center,” he reported. “They’re all dead. I cannot tell you how they died yet. Some look like they just… died. Others look as though they suffered some kind of trauma. I can give you a better assessment shortly.”
(reply Sekal)
