ILLUMINARRPG: (6-0810) Minister Pe'tah

Day: 6

Stardate: 2446.04.30



(Qo'nos- Great Hall - Minister Pe'tah - 0810)


Pe’tah had been seated when Morek entered the chamber and took his seat. He had been watching others when he felt the table move.   He quickly pushed his chair back in time to see the big table flip to its side and saw part of the table vaporize.



The room burst into pandemonium, but he remained calm as Klingons and Federation officers attempted to find the assailant. A small contingent of Klingons were trying to get Morek out safely, but found their way blocked. One Klingon made his way around the Brikar in front of the doorway, and as the door opened it, also, exploded.



He noted through it all that there had been no direct , or actual, attack on anyone. Other than the doorway the only damage had been done to themselves. He wasn’t sure what had caused all the excitement. Was just the threat of an assassination attempt so frieghten his people into … this frenzy. He almost laughed.



Then he saw something strange in the shadows of the ceiling.  At first he thought it was part of a broken light fixture. But as he looked at it, it moved ever so slightly. His eyes narrowed.



He scanned the other dark places high in the chamber and thought he saw another. There had been so much action on the ground level that his sitting still may have given him an advantage of being ignored by whoever, or whatever, was attacking them.



Slowly he pulled out his disruptor and adjusted the setting.   Then, with a sudden movement he pulled the disruptor above the table and fired into the shadow.



There was a screech as the blast struck something.  He fired again, and another screech as an object fell to the ground. He moved quickly, only to see what it was.



When he got there he had to say, he was surprised. Laying on the floor was a three legged Tholian, bleeding from what remained of his fourth leg.
