NRPG: I checked the calendar for 2446 and it claims that Day 7 should be05.01. @Kris: Doing some set-up for the end game. RPG:

 

(SS Ocean Pioneer – Mess Hall – Civilian Claudia – 1030)

 

Ever since she had docked with the Dinges Geval, the Ocean Pioneer wasfinally covering some major distance towards New Romulus. Chief Watoo Katweerand his crew were enjoying the better food and the larger quarters that thefreighter provided them. They had also taken a liking to Henry and Sam. Atfirst, Claudia had not like the idea of her children interacting with theChief’s crew. But the Chief had made it crystal clear that his crew should beon their best behavior around them. 

 

When the crew had arrived, they had been dirty and grizzled. But theyhad showered, shaved and washed their clothes. And – much to everybody’ssurprise – it turned out that they cleaned up nice. The Chief was currentlyteaching the twins about electrical systems. As they were working on theirschoolwork, Claudia was talking to Emile Schofield. When they had met, Claudiahad not known what to make of the Gunnery Sergeant. Now, she was starting toreally like him. No, she was falling in love with him. And it was clear that hewas feeling the same way about her.

 

“So, what shall we do today ?” Claudia asked.

 

“I have some ideas.” Emile began. “The question is…” He stepped closer.“…your place or mine ?”

 

She stepped closer to him and they kissed. Then she took his hand andled him out of the Mess Hall. ~His.~ The last thing she needed was for thetwins to walk in on them.
