ILLUMINARRPG: (4-1646) CSec/Tac - Lt. Commander T'Mur

(USS Illuminar - Deck 5 - Medical - CSec/Tac -  Lt. Commander T'Mur - 1646)

There was a pause between her pressing the door chime and the response.  In fact, her had was reaching out a second time when she heard, "Enter."

The door opened and T'Mur stepped inside.  She wasn't exactly certain what she expected to see, however, the apartment looked orderly and clean.  Sitting on a sofa was a bedraggled-looking Kelly Long.  The Vulcan nodded at Long.

"Ensign," she said.

“Save me the speech, Commander," Long started.  T'Mur met the comment with a raised eyebrow of surprise. "Joy Chinlo is dead and it’s my fault. I should have checked with you before going down there. The smell was too little to go on, etc., etc.” As she leaned back in her chair she concluded with, “So, why don’t we skip the part where you pretend you care about us random redshirts and get to my punishment?”

T'Mur was stunned.  This was not the greeting that she had expected.  Humans were such an intriguing species.  In her mind, she knew that Sienna would not have allowed such behavior from a subordinate officer.  However, her reaction would have much more... emotional.  T'Mur had the benefit of logic on her side, tempered with a touch of Sienna's sarcasm.

She looked around the room and then back at Long quizzically. "I do not see them?"

"Your bags," T'Mur continued, "I do not see your bags.  Clearly, by your attitude and antagonistic behavior towards me you have opted to resign your commission and leave Starfleet.  Is this not correct?  If you require help getting your personal belongings together I can help you, or assign a crewman to provide assistance.  Is this your desire?"
