"Consider this however ambassador," Mias said, "they have waited this long for something or something is going on behind the scenes of which we aren't aware. There is still hope that we can turn the tables somehow." His brow furrowed. "I only wish I could tell you how."

McKenzie turned and grumbled to himself, 'Damned Betazoids, almost as bad as the Vulcans."  He walked away and paced back and forth.  Then he turned back to the others.

"I find myself in agreement with you Riven," he admitted.  "They are waiting for something.  They seem to know something that we don't.  I guess it feels like they... know what we are trying to do, as their arguments against us are too exact..., especially for Klingons.  If I didn't know better," he paused before saying it, "I get an almost Romulan feel from the whole thing.  I just don't trust this whole process right now."
