ILLUMINARRPG: (2-1248) CSec/Tac - Lt. Commander T’Mur

(USS Illuminar - Deck 1 - Bridge - CSec/Tac - Lt. Commander T’Mur - 1248)


T’Mur had taken the command chair, spending the time looking at the duty rosters of all of the departments.  Sekal had asked her to analyse the departments schedules and make recommendations on any changes she might make.  The turbolift door opened and something caught the edge of her peripheral vision.  She had to turn her head to get a clear view of the sight that came out.


It was a man, at least she presumed it was a man.  But his manner of dress was unlike anything that she had seen before.  She had seen uniforms that had been modified to accommodate certain physical attributes of the wearer, and even some decorative adornments, such as the Klingon sash that Galk wore.  But this… this was a completely unique outfit that barely resembled a Starfleet uniform.  From the hat on his head to the yellow covers on his shinymblack shoes, he looked more like some kind of circus act than an officer.


Then he did some kind of action with his hands to his mouth, that she could not interpret.  Was he having trouble and asking for some kind of breathing device.  She was about to jump up and render assistance to what appeared to be a dying man when he spoke.


"A'right, youse can all rest easy agin!” the man said,  “Da Kronk is here! So'z, where's this Captain I'm s'posta report to?"


T’Mur did rise and go over to the man.  She looked in his face with a quizzical look.  “Apologies, but the Universal Translator appears to be malfunctioning.  I did not comprehend anything that you just said.  Who are you? And why should I … ‘rest easy’? ”
