ILLUMINARRPG: (1-1817) SFI - Lt Michael Weston (take 2)

NRPG:  Reposted because my ADHD kicked in and I missed a detail.  That's right I said it.  I have a plethora of acronym mental disorders, not just MPD.


RPG:


Mission: Prelude

Day: 1

Stardate: 2446.03.23


(Earth - Shadow Pines- Hamptons - Interior - SFI -  Lt Michael Weston - 1817)


“Glad you could make it,” he said. “I’m hoping the idea of Quinna can finally get some acceptance from our girl.”


"That's all right, I've got this." Steven picked Leeza up. "She is going to retire to her room until she cools off and you can play with her later."



Michael sighed.  He understood what Steve was trying to do, and he needed to allow him to assert his parental authority.  He gave up that right, as he should have.  He just hoped that it had the effect he had hoped, and not backfire against Quinna.



It was clear that the Hammons had taken Leeza to their heart.  She was, after all, easy to love.  All he could do was watch as Steve, with Leeza hefted over his shoulder like a piece of luggage, climbed the stairs to their room.



Michael shrugged and followed Quinna into her room.  He gave her a half smile.



“I know that Steve needs to be the parent in that situation, but I thought I was making some headway with her.”

He pulled her into a hug and held onto her tightly.  Then he went to the closet and whistled.  For a woman who typically only wore scrubs and her uniform she had a lot of clothes.  As he always suspected, she was a closet fashionista.  He pulled out a jacket and held it out to help her into it.



“Mi-lady,” he said with a smile.

“Shall we go down to the fire and check in on the good doctors?”
