ILLUMINARRPG: (1, 1720) The Butler Benson DuBois

NRPG:  Ok I thought I would practice my APA formatting for this post.  Hope
you all do not mind.

Kris

Mission:  Prelude

Day 1

Stardate 2446.03.23

(Earth-- Shadow Pines -- Hamptons -- The Butler -- Benson Dubois -- )

Benson scurried to Quinna’s suite.  He was only followed by Weston who
would have knocked him over if he only knew where it was.

“Just what the hell is going on here?”  Weston had beat him to the punch.

“I walked in through the back and was so busy gawking at the furniture that
I ended up walking in on the doctor at a very inappropriate time.” He
paused. “I’m Alex Dyson, by the way.”

“Ahh, Mr. Dyson, perhaps I can escort you to your room, and give you a tour
that included the front door,”  Benson said as he stretched out his hand
for Dyson to follow.

Once outside of the room Benson beaconed Dyson into the great room.  “This
is the central location.  If you look to the south, there are doors that
take you to the pool deck and outdoor area.  There is also a walk to the
private beach.  The pool is heated however the ocean is not.  The average
temperature of the water this time of year is around 2 to 4 degrees Celcius
(36 to 39 degrees Fahrenheit),” (Long Beach Water Temperature (Sea) and
Wetsuit Guide (Long Island NY, USA), 2022) Benson remarked but then again
some people do like being out in the bitterly cold water.  He figured that
maybe Dyson was one of those people but he could be wrong.  Benson made a
note to keep an eye on him.

“And now if you look to the North, you will see the preferred way to enter
and exit Shadow Pines.  We call it the front door.”  Benson quipped.

“Now if you come with me, I will take you to your room, we will be going
upstairs.”  Benson straightened his shirt as she headed up the stairs.  A
servant came and took Dyson’s bag to carry to his room.

Benson stood in front of a dark mahogany door. “Mr. Dyson this is your
room.”  Benson opened the door to a spacious room.  It opens in a common
balcony on the side of the Atlantic ocean.  It also had its own adjacent
bathroom.

“Dinner will be served poolside this evening,”  Benson informed.  Feel free
to explore though I do ask that you stay out of the bedrooms.
