ILLUMINARRPG: (1-1121) Pilot- Arthur ‘Snoopy’ Corday

(USS Illuminar- Deck 5 - Corridor - Pilot- Arthur ‘Snoopy’ Corday - 1121)

“I’ll come,” Dyson said, finally coming to his senses. “And thanks for the kick in the butt, I needed that.”

“Not a problem,” Arthur said slapping Dyson on the shoulder. “Any time you need a slap around just let me know.”

Then Alex said. “But I’ll have to stay sober, I have an appointment with a simulator and Starfleet frowns on flying drunk.”

“You might want to consider taking the rest of the day of the simulator. You boots let your brain percolate on what happened today. Let it sink in so you can learn from it.  Besides, I can’t guarantee your sobriety.”

Alex nodded. “For the record, I don’t think my assignment here will last much longer. I didn’t score much points with Lieutenant Grey Wolf. I did put in for a transfer and if were her, I would kick me off the ship.”

“Like I said,” Arthur replied, “you can quit if you want, but that won’t do your career any favors, unless your considering leaving the fleet. And Lt. Grey Wolf is not easy to impress. You’re a good pilot, you just need time and experience. It won’t matter what ship your on.”

“By the way, is there a somebody from Starfleet Intelligence on this ship ? Because the list of my previous assignments stinks. Not only are the dates off, there are more holes in it then a piece of Swiss Cheese. I need to submit a corrected version, but the normal channels would take foreeeeeeever. SFI can hopefully cut through some of the red tape.”

The question and reason caught Arthur by surprise. “That sounds like an admin issue. I’m not sure how they got the information wrong since those files are created by the information you provided them. I don’t think Michael Weston would be the guy to ask to help with a clerical problem. That’s more HR.”
