ILLUMINARRPG: (1-0951) Pilot- Lt. Arthur ‘Snoopy’ Corday

Day: 1

Stardate:  2446.03.23

(Mars Perimeter - Fighters  – Pilot- Lt. Arthur ‘Snoopy’ Corday – 0951)

Snoopy did a quick visual of the remaining fighters.  Raid was keeping two of the fighters occupied, as was Dyson.  He was keeping himself from taking any massive hits but he could see his shields were getting dangerously low as one of the ships tagged several strikes.

=^=If you have any more clever tricks, now would be a good time to deploy them.=^=

“Relax Knight 2, you’re doing great,” Corday encouraged.  “I have an idea.”

Corday maneuvered his fighter in position and sent it carreening straight towards one of the ships firing at Dyson.  He flew past the within 5 meters causing its proximity alarms to go off.  He then turned hoping to draw of one or both of the fighters.  He got his wish.  One of the Makos peeled off and came after him.

~I think I know who that might just be.~

He chuckled into his comm unit, “What do you say Spuds.  Is today your day?”

=^=I think it might just be Snoopy.  No matter what, your wingman’s toast. =^=

Snoopy spun his ship round, feeling his stomach lurch before the inertial dampeners kicked in, and accelerated back at the Mako following him.  The two ships passed each other at near full speed.  He needed to get the attention of the other Mako.  He was taking a big chance of buying it from Spuds.

He pulled in behind the ship and began to fire his pulse cannons.  The ship easily dodged such an obvious display, but that was what Snoopy wanted.

“Dyson, remember tag?” he called over his comm.  “I’ve got his attention.  Be careful.  A turn at this speed might give you whiplash.”
