ILLUMINARRPG: (1 - 0800) SO COP Hercules Devers

Mission:  Prelude

Day: 2

(SS Arthur M. Anderson - SO CPO Hercules Devers - 0800)


Devers had settled into his quarters on the Arthur Anderson.  The 
automated nature of these high-warp transports meant that there was 
minimal crew on the ship, and the extra rooms for passengers were well 
appointed, more so that anything an NCO was used to.


There were long hallways that were good for him to stretch his legs.  He 
found the gym for the crew, and was able to take advantage of it as well 
for training.  He knew he had time to kill and needed to see if he could 
find his path clear.  Master Jekko was clear on his mind.  Devers was 
definitely confused with the time jumping and dimension jumping.  It was 
important for him to find his center.


After a good two hour workout, he took a quick sonic shower and headed 
to the mess hall.  It felt odd to be out and not wearing his uniform.  
His tattoo on his left arm, the blazon of his home town.  A few of the 
crew had asked him, which let me dwell on his youth.  Perhaps he could 
get a few days home to have his mothers cooking, walk the streets he 
grew up on.  Sometimes the life in the stars was overrated, and this was 
the first time in a long time he had thought about missing home.


He placed the PADD down at a table, open to the ‘Three Musketeers’.  He 
ordered a large cafe au lait, fresh fruit juice, french scrambled eggs 
and french radishes with butter and salt.  He smiled and sat down to 
enjoy the time to eat, rather than run to a briefing, or training or 
standing at duty station.


Sipping the juice, he started to read while he started to enjoy his 
breakfast. It looked to be a good quiet day.  Perhaps he would see about 
talking to T’Mur’s father, Jopek and try to answer his questions.
