(USS Illuminar - Transporter Room 1 – SO Ensign Shosi –1421)


Shosi stepped over to Trie and nodded. Her antennae moved slightly as she took in all of Trei, and monitored her condition.


“By your leave, Lieutenant, I will be your protection detail,” Shosi said in her most formal voice. “If at all possible I will keep you out of the fight, but I find that prospect highly unlikely, especially since we’re headed to the bridge. It should be highly protected. Of course, the operative word is “should”. These pirates do not appear to be very well trained, based on our past experiences.”

Sushi looked around at the group and noticed they were all looking for some kind of direction. She shook her head, thinking how she hated working with command staff that refused to take command of a situation. Granted Trei was half Klingon, but she could sense the conflict in Trei with her Betazoid half. She leaned over and whispered in Trei’s ear.


“Perhaps we should all prepare for transport?” she suggested, eager to get this all over.
