Mission: Death in the Shadows

Day: 9

Stardate: 2446.02.09

(USS Illuminar -- Bridge -- Deck 1 -- FO Commander Sienna Williams-Verin --
1400)

Sienna was watching the Hades continue the fire, and it made her smile.
What did not please her was when two of the ships turned onto her and she
could see the incoming torpedoes.

“Ma’am, incoming torpedoes,” Ensign Tavay spoke from the tactical station,
where her T'Mur was supposed to be. This was her second battle in a short
period of time and she did not feel ready, anymore than she had with the
last battle. And she had not really dealt with the grief, guilt and anger
that was a product from the last battle with these pirates.

"Countermeasures, Ensign. I know they think we are bracketed but get us out
of this, Lt. Grey Wolf." Sienna ordered calmly.

“Ma’am, the ship is on an impact course for the Illuminar.” Tavay
continued to read the klingon ship. “Ma’am I am reading a pending warp
core breach.”

Sienna blinked, ::Luma, microjump us, 10 seconds.:: Sienna had learned
about the abilities that Luma had over time. If that klingon ship impacted
with the Illuminar, they would be destroyed, no matter the Hades supporting
them.

Sienna felt her world implode for a second, her head swimming as Luma
hard-forged a connection to Sienna, forcing the bond way open to accomplish
this necessary task. Sienna saw lights exploding behind her eyelids and
found herself nose first on the deckplates in front of the view screen.

She tried to leverage herself up, everything in her body and head hurting,
but especially her nose, which she was pretty sure was broken. It was
certainly bleeding. "What just happened." Sienna did not realize that she
was slurring her words, or that there were tears running down her face
mingling with the bloody nose.

"Luma, dalk do me." She managed the words as her face was blossoming in
beautiful colors.

=^= Luma obeyed. The Illuminar side stepped in time forward ten seconds in
the micro jump as Our Sienna ordered. But to do it, Luma needed a corporeal
anchor in the timeline, and hard-opened the bond, which made Our Sienna
fall onto her nose and damage her face.=^= Luma sounded slightly anxious,
but much more calm than she had been in the last two weeks.

"Do-Kay." Sienna spoke, using her chair to get off the deck plates and back
into Sekal's command chair. "Sdadus reports, people. Dell me da damage. And
Luma's abilities do not leave da bridge."

nrpg: Everyone on the ship would have a sense that something happened, but
not exactly what. What happened was that they skipped forward in time and
space by a few seconds.
