Mission: Death in the Shadows

Stardate 2446.02.09


(Wolverine Warcraft Dhar’G’Ling- Bridge - Commander- Wesley Roberts  – 1358)


Roberts watched as the Kang suddenly appeared and fired their special weapons at the Illuminar. These were the shield penetrating missiles that exploded and sent out the magnetic mines. He sat back in his seat and smiled.


“Nice Vazzini,” he said to himself.


“Sir, another ship is decloaking,” was announced.


He sat back up as a Prometheus class starship suddenly appeared behind the Kang, already firing its torpedoes.  They all hit the Kang point blank around their engines.  He was amazed that the ship was still in one piece.  But the second volley of torpedoes from the Federation ship.  Suddenly the Kang shot forward on a collision course for the Illuminar.


“Message from the Kang,” the Bolian at the Operations position said.  “Text only.  It says “Clear the area.”  What does he mean?”


Roberts almost panicked.  He knew Vazzini was zealot with his strategy and he always had an endgame plan in his head.  He suddenly realized what that game was.


“Fire another round of torpedoes, and signal the others, reverse course at full impulse.  And everybody hold on tight.”


All he could do now was watch as Vazzini and the Kang continued on its course towards the Illuminar.
