(USS Illuminar - Deck 1 - Bridge - COps/3rdO Lieutenant Dieter Gregory - 
1331)

"How did they get through our shields, Mr. Gregory?" the Commander asked.

"Ma'am we're talking about a civilization that was advanced beyond 
Federation technology 10,000 years ago.  Without more analysis, I have 
no idea how they did it," Gregory replied.

As Gregory continued to work the sensors, he kept an ear out to the 
conversations on the bridge.

Three Vulcans were taken from the ship. Commander Verin spoke, "But they 
are all mixed race vulcans, all three are about a quarter vulcan at 
best. So the Controller..or whoever else seems to be in charge down 
there, has the Captain and my bondmate and a valuable cadet. Why the 
Vulcans?"

"Ideas, people. Why would the Controller want our full blooded vulcans?"

"Ma'am, in Captain Kirk's logs, it mentioned that the Eymorgs had stolen 
Mr. Spocks brain.  As he was half vulcan, one can speculate that is 
why," replied Gregory.

"For now the Captain is on his own. Evasive Pattern Omega, variance 4b. 
Mr. Gregory, transmit the news to our Starfleet compatriots about the 
Captain.  Tell the Vice Admiral that we think the Controller took his 
son, and that we are not sure why that woman took all of our full 
blooded vulcans."

"Aye ma'am," Gregory replied, "Davis, get that message out now," he 
called to the operations station.

"Randomize out flight pattern, Ms. Grey Wolf." Sienna ordered.

"Lock phasers on the largest vessel, Mr. Gregory and fire when in range. 
Target their engines."

"Yes Ma'am," he replied as he started to target the ships.  ~I hope 
someone gets here soon~ he thought to himself.

"Targets acquired Commander, in range in ten thousand kilometers," 
Gregory called out, "Still no reading indicated energy weapons being 
charged."
