ILLUMINARRPG: (9-1321) CTO- Lt(jg) T'Mur

NRPG:  I apologize in advance for the horrific creation I made here by just trying to bring everything I have not been able to reply to and make sense of it in my head.  Let me know if I missed something.

RPG:

Mission: Death in the Shadows
Day: 9
Stardate: 2446.02.09

(USS Illuminar - Deck 1 - Bridge - CTO- Lt(jg) T'Mur- 1321).

"Captain we are reading activity in the system at three points,” Winters announced. "Four energy signatures have just appeared around the curve of planet number four, three have lifted off from a glacial region in the northern hemisphere of our target and two are entering the system."

"Isolate that location on the planet's surface Mr. Skashe." The CO responded crisply. "And feed those targets to tactical." The yellow alert began to flash as Sekal hit the control. "Operations replolarize the hull and ready the EM pulse.

"Aye sir. Targets coming over,” Winters replied.

T’Mur received the data and overplayed onto her tactical map of the planet.  She tapped a button and the display appeared on the view screen.  The red crosshairs of the energy signatures appeared, showing the locations of energy output.  She immediately brought the quantum torpedoes on line and targeting the marks.

“Sir, we are getting a transmission from the surface of the planet,” Gregory announced.  "Someone called the 'Controller' is ordering us to leave orbit or be fired upon.”

"Captain based on Star Fleet records, the Controller is a computer system that ran the underground habitat of the planet.  According to Captain Kirk's logs, he disconnected it.  It appears that someone has reconnected it.”

"Open a channel Mister Gregory,”  Sekal ordered.

A light started flashing on Gregory's panels.  "Sir, we have multiple wavelengths attempting to scan the ship," he said. "Trying to compensate."

As he worked on the problem, "Science, see if you can isolate the waveform pattern, I'm not getting a clear picture."

"Sir, it appears something is trying to gain access to our computer files,” Gregory called out, "Isolating them to level 2 areas only.  Can't seem to cut off the connection."

T’Mur began to work on the shield modulations to block the scans.  As she was able to block one wavelength another would appear, faster than she could block it..  After a few moments she had managed to block three of them and began to see the pattern of the scans modulating frequency.  Somewhere inner mind she was fascinated by the technology that could create a modulating scaring wavelength and still make sense of the data, if it was making sense of it.  With the pattern recognized she was able to program their shields to block the scanning waves.

“Scans are blocked Captain,” she said, “for now.  Until they determine how I blocked them."

The viewer wavered and was replaced by the interior of a room somewhere upon the surface of the planet. A woman wearing a leather halter and bottom carried a bracelet studded with buttons on her left wrist. =^= I am the Controller. You are in violation of our sovereignty. You must leave immediately. =^=

The conversation between Sekal and the Controller did not last long.  It consisted of the Captain explaining their purpose for being there and his intentions for finding and ending the pirate colonies on the planet, and the Controller defending their position and their own sovereignty and rights.  In a manner, the Controller was not incorrect, even if their position was to support those that are creating and utilizing weapons of such destructive capabilities.  The Controller demanded proof of the Federations accusations.

"Mr. Gregory end the communication. Tactical realign the main phaser banks to Dark Matter output and pinpoint sources of power generation on the planet's surface.”

“Aye sir,” T’Mur replied and began the work to realign the phasers.  ::Luma, I need the Dark Matter phasers to be brought on line.::

::It is the order of Captain Sekal, please comply.::

"Shields to full. Luma shut off access to main systems and wall off technical specifications for this ship. They will gain only surface information that will not help them."

“Shields up,” T’Mur announced.  “All protocols for the new missiles have been employed."

He stayed on his feet until the scan ceased. "Are the phasers realigned? Place on standby, do not fire except on my order. What is the status of the enemy ship?"

T’Mur checked to see the progress of the realignment.  “Realignment will be complete in 27 seconds.  The enemy ship is still proceeding towards us, and should be in range within the next two minutes.”
