(Sigma Draconis VI - Controllers room - The Controller -1325)

  "A point of order Controller, we are not and never have been in orbit 
around your planet. We are currently anticipating an attack by elements 
of a pirate and smuggling operation that is based in the northern 
hemisphere of your planet. Are you aware of them?"


The Controller pointed to her finger at the Captain. “YOU come towards 
our planet with three of your federation starships.  YOU make an 
outlandish claim of pirates on the planet.  Where is your proof to 
support your accusations?  You even claim that the peaceful ships of our 
guests will attack you?  I fear you are delusional. ““If you have proof 
that the activities are those of , as you call them, pirates, we will 
consider this proof and take necessary actions, as is our right as a 
sovereign planet, and supported by the Charter of your Federation, or 
does that only apply to member states?”


"And what have they promised you and your people for your protection? 
They are lawless elements selling destructive technology and weaponry 
and I have been ordered to shut this illegal enterprise down. I can 
blockade this system possibly however my orders are quite clear. To 
destroy their operation by any means necessary," Sekal said.


“How would you react if ships of war came to your home planet, making 
outlandish claims?  Indeed, all you have done so far is produce words.  
No proof or evidence to support your claims.  I again challenge you to 
provide clear and compelling proof that these people are in fact pirates 
and lawless elements as you claim.  They have not broken any of our 
laws, and are a peaceful group“ the Controller replied.


"You would be wise to reconsider, Controller. This vessel is far more 
advanced than the Constitution Class ship that visited your planet 
before. While I would take no pleasure in the destruction of yourself 
and what remains of your civilization I am prepared to take that step 
should it become necessary,” the Captain said.


“There is nothing to reconsider until you produce proof. Isn’t that how 
your justice and legal system operate?  You have made extraordinary 
claims, and you expect that we take it at your word?  And now you 
threaten US with destruction?  Is this how your federation deals with 
planets that are not part of their membership.” the controller replied. 
   “Bully them into submission by making outlandish claims.  Does your 
Federation council know you are here making these threats to our 
sovereignty.  To our very existence?” The woman pushed a button on the 
bracelet. "This conversation is now being transmitted to the Federation 
Envy on Deneb V. We will not stand for your threats to our sovereignty 
or to your threats to our destruction."
