(Vulcan - ShiKahr- Bazaar- Davelahn – 1147)


“I am sorry,” Quinna said.  "I guess you can take the girl away from work, but you cannot take the work away from the girl.”



"Apologies are not necessary,” Davelahn said. “You are welcome to scan anything you wish to ensure its quality. Some of the merchants may give you a strange look. But you would not be the first to doubt the quality of their wares. If you are looking for something more medicinal there is a place a little further down that may suit your purpose a few meters further along,"



“You know, I am a bit hungry.”  Quinna Admitted.


“There is a food vendor over there,” he pointed to an area where there had been some small , round tables set up. “They have a reputation of having food that has a pleasurable labor, and is safe to consume. Although I have never eaten there myself, I am willing to trust the reputation today.”


As they walked, Quinna had what seemed to be a million questions in  her mind.  “You do seem to know about me, I am curious about you.”



“Indeed,” Davelahn replied, “there is not much to be curious of.”


He found a table and offered a seat to the doctor, sat down across from her and motioned to the server that they would like to order.


“However,” he continued. “I might disagree with you as I really know very little about you.  However, perhaps we can play a popular game.  I will answer a question of yours, if you answer a question of mine.  Then we can know more of each other.”



“So you say you traveled here,” Quinna began.  "Where are you from?”



“A logical question,” Davelahn admitted. “Do you mean originally, or just for this trip? No, that is not my question. Allow me to answer under the assumption of where is my place of business. I have a facility in Vulcana Regar, on the other side of the Forge.”


He looked to see if the answer was acceptable.
