(USS Illuminar - Outside Gregory’s quarters - ACSO Lieutenant (jg) Jaton Alyl - 1845)

Jaton had been feeling uneasy ever since last night when he saw Dieter in the lounge with two women hanging off him. The two men had only been on one date but in Jaton’s mind it was magical. And they hadn’t talked about being exclusive, but still Jaton couldn’t help but feel the pangs of jealousy even now.

Somehow he had been able to focus on work today, and now that he was done for the evening, he felt like he needed to do something about it. And so he found himself outside Dieter’s quarters, hesitant at first to ring the doorchime. But after more than a couple moments he somehow worked up the strength to ring it.

“Dieter, it’s Jaton. Can we talk?”
