ILLUMINARNRPG: Why JP posting the battle?

Just letting everyone know,

We routinely use the post to post format for battles but sometimes we will
mix up the method depending on circumstance. The circumstance for this
battle is that while it is only a minor one it would take over a week to
post by normal format and perhaps two. At the moment Spencer has begun LOA
so what you are seeing by jp is what is occurring from the perspective of
the bridge crew.

In order that none be left in the dark I have been sending posts from the
perspective of Commander Hoto so that you get an idea of what is going on
in the background. One of the missiles got through and there is substantial
damage aft on decks 6-10 as well as the loss of shield emitters.

The intention of doing this is not to leave anyone out of the action but to
speed up the process while maximizing background information on what your
characters are playing off of.

So if anyone feels slighted or left out by this you have my apologies as
that is not our intention.
