ILLUMINARNRPG: What am I reading?

Some of you may be wondering this.
It has taken a while for the players to gel but we have begun adding more
old school depth to the game. The interactions are getting deeper which
sparks even more in depth writing.
We had one post come through which I previewed and accepted which
tightropes the PG-13 rating.
This is old school Star Trek Freedom writing and it is good to see. The
Original Series and Deep Space 9 depth of writing. Those series are my
favorites. If you want a primer on how to tiptoe the PG-13 rating you need
only read the post by Melinda and Al who are two STF veterans. Will
Banowsky the Exeter CO also read this post and agreed.
We had a saying back in the old STF, if you had been anymore explicit you
would have had to write it in Chinese. Actually Jeremy Trout had that to
say about one post between my half-Vulcan Ketal and Vanyssa Winters who are
happily married in game and two of their children are aboard Illuminar in
the science department.
We allow edgy writing here, edgy but not writing that jumps the line into
porn.
The depth of the character interactions is also increasing but where there
is dramatic tension or face-downs we are talking about it continuously
behind the scenes.
Feel free to get creative. Our would be assassin has left sickbay and has
at least one other cohort on the ship. We are waiting on replies from
others being brought into the plot.
Melinda has told me our posting numbers have surpassed those of Exeter at
this point. I'll admit this is pleasing, I'm used to running ships that
have the highest posting numbers in the fleet but this is not my primary
motivation. My primary motivation is for people to take part and have fun.
With that in mind I hope everyone is enjoying their time on the ship. If
you have any questions or concerns the command team has an open door policy
and we would like to hear from you.
Cheers!
Your adoring CO
