“When the airlock… opens?” Doctor Kruze asked with a pale expression on his
face.


Ethan shook his head.

" Yeah it kinda has to open for us to leave, Wait…" Ethan paused with the
sudden realization that Doctor Kruze had no idea they were leaping from the
cheron to the mining facility.

" You didn't know ?"



“Oh @#$%! Oh @%$#!”  Kruze exclaimed.


Ethan looked around in a brief panic and placed his hands on Kruze's
shoulders and in a hushed tone said.

" Look Doctor, you trusted me back on Vandalos and I trusted you, with the
you know what's that went inside the you know who. I'm asking you as a
fellow officer…no to hell with that. I'm asking you man to man to trust me
again. I won't let anything happen to you. "


( reply Kruze)


" I'm gonna program your suit with the correct information to safely make
it. I swear on my life, Sir." Ethan said as he felt something swirl inside
of him that he wasn't used to. It Was confidence,  confidence that for a
moment was able to drown out his own fear.
