Mission: Space was cool before it mattered
Day: 1
Stardate: 2446.04.25

(USS Exeter –Holodeck observation room - 2O/CEO, Commander Keira Merek -
1519)

" Now that seems like a formal assessment if you ask me. " Tyrek said
jokingly.

"Just making chit-chat." Keira said, holding her hands up in mock
surrender. "I find sometimes that when it comes time for evaluations, it's
hard to find the right words. Articulating them can be a good way to
support someone's career progression, even if only informally from behind
the scenes. Sometimes being too close to it can blur your vision. "

" He supports you too." Tyrek said.

Keira raised a single eyebrow, non-verbally asking for clarification.

" Well that's just what I've gathered from my observations. He watches you
when you aren't looking, with a look that seems to be holding back a
thousand words. Actually I've a few members of this crew look at you in
such a manner. With proud eyes." Tyrek said and looked at her.

" You're very fortunate to have such caring friends."

Keira smiled. It took her own blood turning her own tactics against her to
see it. "I guess I was too close to see it properly."

(Reply Tyrek)

"Well, thanks for it anyway. It's alway good to get another perspective to
jar skewed perceptions. Speaking of perspectives, mind sharing yours on the
drill?" Keira asked.

(Reply Tyrek)

"There will always be those who mean to do us harm. To stop them, we risk
awakening the same evil within ourselves. Our first instinct is to seek
revenge when those we love are taken from us, but that's not who we are." -
