“It is also possible Layla feels confined… or more likely fears
abandonment.” Braeden thought aloud.

"It is possible, a Starship is a hard place for a dog. No real outdoors."
Thea replied.

“In my experience whatever is going on with a dog, has to do with what’s
going on with the owner. I knew of one person who would somatize their
stress into digestive issues. And their dog also had stomach issues, only
compounding that person’s stress. Dogs are very empathic creatures, and
that empathy also means they get upset when away from their master.”

"possibly, but the Williamses are very good to her. So I dunno. Maybe it is
that Layla just rejects me as a surrogate caregiver. I dunno. Or maybe she
is just a little shit."

“Hopefully this has been helpful?”

"It has, thank you. But I got to get back to work." Thea said smiling. "See
ya later," Thea then got up and left.
