Ashlyn tapped her commbadge and acknowledged the signal. “Ensign Williams.
Hey Megan. Are you okay sweetie?”



“I am very sorry for being late Mrs. Williams. I unfortunately got
sidetracked and lost track of time.”

Smiling, and pulling her stuff together, Ash answered. “It’s no problem,
happens to us all. So long as you’re all fine.”



=/\=Do you need me to come and pick up Ronnie and Drew?=/\=



“Ronnie is with Trip, so it’s just Drew in here, if you can come and get
him that would be amazing. He’s been fed so should be good until near
lunch.”

talk to you about a dream ronnie just mentioned.=/\=



“On my way Captain. Williams out.” she tapped her commbadge, changing
direction in mid step, surprising a couple of lieutenants who both stood to
one side as the dark haired blur that was Ash in focussed mode strode past.



(USS Exeter - Bridge – MorOff Ens(sg) Ashlyn Williams - 0955)



There was a time, even recently that stepping onto the Bridge terrified
her, she’d been up here many times of course, but she felt it was of who
Trip was, rather than earning the right to come here under her own steam.
She wasn’t a Bridge Officer of course, but she wore the uniform and a
commissioned rank, so in her mind, that counted. Striding across the
Bridge, avoiding Ronnie’s gaze as she did so, she reached the ready room
and tapped the chime, announcing her presence.



Upon hearing Trips voice, she stepped inside.

“You mentioned Ronnie?”
