(USS Exeter - Deck 9- Starlight lounge- SOPS/3O Cmdr Tyrek Na’Rel - 1007)



“I haven’t had a old fashioned in a long time…” Kruze mumbled.


" I've tried once. When I first came to Earth" Tyrek replied and took
another drink of his Romulan Whiskey.

" Good stuff"


“Did I ever tell you about the first shore leave I had on the Exeter?”
Heinrich asked.



Shaking his head.

" No you haven't. " Tyrek replied knowing many members of the crew seldom
talked about their time aboard the Exeter during that shore leave.



“I had just joined the ship’s crew shortly before shore leave. We went to
Risa. It was my first time being on a ship, my first time being on shore
leave. I didn’t know what I was doing, or what to do. So I got myself some
romulan ale. I assume it was inauthentic,” he said with a smile.


" Most likely." Tyrek replied shortly with a smile.


“It messed me up. I don’t remember too much. All I remember was I woke up
in a hotel room with an urn in my bed. And there were people looking for
me. Maybe I shouldn’t be telling you this…”


" An Urn ? " Tyrek asked, very surprised.

" You work up with an urn ? Oh I'm sorry I'm afraid I must hear the rest of
this story." Tyrek laughed.

Tyrek listened to the tale of Urn, clutching onto every word as Heinrich
spoke. It sounded like something straight out of a fictional story, but
Tyrek nonetheless was impressed by the tale.

" I'm afraid I have no stories like that to share." He laughed then got
with the realization that Kruze's adventures after that situation on Risa
became a lot worse as did the experiences of so many others on the Exeter.

" I'm not trying to bring up bad times Heinrich " Tyrek said calling his
friend by his first name.

" But I must ask, was your experience in the fictional universe created by
a member of the Q continuum as profound as the experiences of others ? Just
asking out of curiosity."
