" Just go to your office and get some rest. If anyone comes looking for you
I'll tell them you're busy going over work order requests for me to review
later."

"It's fine, I've got a half day today anyways. Shame it is not Friday, then
I'd make today a POETS day, Piss off early tomorrow is Saturday. Alas,
today is Wednesday and we don't get weekends in Starfleet."
Ethan leaned in close and whispered.

" I already reviewed the work order requests, I just haven't signed off on
them yet. So go take some time to recharge."

"Nah, it's ok. I had a good black tea, I just have to make it to 1200
hours." Alistair replied.

" Dude." Ethan said with a smile. " You covered me last Friday night at the
last minute so Trin and I could grab dinner. The way I see it, if we aren't
gonna do the occasional solid for one another then both of our lives are
gonna be more difficult than they have to be."

"Yeah, but I don't need you to cover for me if the reason I was up all
night was because I was reading the collected works of Aristotle." Alistair
said with a big yawn.

"Besides, you covered for me last week so I could take Cerise to the
holodeck for a bike ride and a picnic. So in my book we are even."
