Mission: Space was cool before it mattered

 

Day: 1

 

Stardate: 2446.04.25

 

 

(USS Exeter –Security – Nanny – Megan Tatlock - 0902)

 

Megan entered security and paused at the doorway.She had a few hours off this morning before going back to the kids and due tothe face that things were quiet, she thought it might be a good opportunity to goand ask what she had been thinking about for a while. 

 

It was mainly what had happened when they weredealing with the Vandalosians and the fact that they had kidnapped theirprincess. It had become more of a plan since then as the decision hadsolidified. Her old job on board was to look after Ronnie and Drew and shewanted to make sure that she was able to keep them safe in any situation. She hadalready worked out the quickest way to the escape pods from their quarters aswell as how long it would take for her to get to their quarters from her own. Shehad also worked out routes to the nearest transport room and the shuttle bay. 

 

She had made so enquiries while they were in transitand spoke to a grizzled marine who had given her some insightful informationand well as going through the ships on board library, but reading had onlygotten her so far which was why she was standing in the security department.

 

She paused for a moment as people passed by ontheir way to do their work.

 

“Excuse me Sir. I am sorry to bother you, butdo you have a movement?”
