Ire waited for the door to close before the real questions began from Na’Rel.

 

" How is your combat prowess, in terms of ship to shipcombat?" 

 

“I have a good grasp of ship-to-ship combat.”

 

" You're a former fighter pilot and from my understanding you flewthe Exeter in combat on several occasions. Is that correct ?" Tyrek asked.

 

“Yes Sir. I have seen combat when I was the squadron leader of the VoidHaunters which was part of the 1st fighter wing on mars. As well aswhen I was the Chief Flight Officer on the Exeter.”

 

" I reviewed the information on the battles of the Exeter. Alsowhile serving as the Strategic operations officer, tactical analytics were partof job. You're most noted predecessor, Lieutenant Commander Ravok developed aT.A.P. , Tactical applications plan. Where he tied in plans for firing patternsand usage of weapons delivery into the combat maneuvers of the Helm officers,Essentially a play book of phaser and torpedo attacks based on whoever was atthe helm. Perhaps you should look over it, he himself was a fighter pilot. Ifyou'd like I could assist you in learning some of the firing patterns and evenupdate the T.A.P. " 

 

Ire nodded as he mentally winced at the mention of Ravok.

“Yes Sir that would be a great help thank you.”

 

" I'm not trying to brag, but I was a weapons officer, ourequivalent of a tactical officer. So I can help you fully transition into therole, I'd prefer to spend my free time sampling the intimate company of ourship's civilians, but I'll make an exception for you, Lieutenant " 

 

~I hope the ships civilians is going to be ready to sample his company~

 

He kept his thoughts to himself.

 

“Yes Sir that would be very helpful. The Security department is a veryefficient team which works well thanks to my predecessor’s work. Its me that isthe weak link in the chain so any advice would be great full received.”
