(Exeter –MCO's Office – CTO – Lieutenant – Ire Williams – 1549)
"Actually Lieutenant we were discussing our sinister plan to overtake the Federation for the Supreme glory of New Romulus."
Ire was not great with Romulan humour. Ravok was a more outgoing personand he had gotten use to understanding his humour, but he had not got a hand onNa’Rel’s yet.”
“Okay Colonel.”
He watched as Na’Relstarted to laugh and relaxed the tension that he had not know was there.”
" I'm joking Lieutenant Williams, please take a seat. "
Ire took the seat that Na’Relhad offered.
"Lieutenant S'Kor and I weren't discussing a little bit of ourbackgrounds. "
“I understand.”
Ire looked at the holographic display that opened in front of him.
"This is my proposal for the utilization of my marines. "
Ire nodded.
" The standard away team is to have no less than one marine, landing parties or away teams that are pre-planned to split up will have amarine to with each segmented portion or team. It's all actually very simple,Lieutenant."
“Okay that makes sense for away missions.”
" My marines are not here to take the jobs or dilute the importanceof your security personnel. If anything they are here to help them and byextension the crew as well, by adding a little more…meat around theedges."
“Understood sir.”
He looked at the information that Na’Rel had give him.
“What’s it your plan for your marines during shipboardaction stations? I know that on some ships they are used as part of the damage controlteams as well as marines with specific qualifications work with their fleet counterparts. Are you wanting them to have specific duties stations with security or wouldyou prefer them to be together as an independent unit?”
(Reply Na’Rel)
