“Um Doctor. If this is something untoward, we should probably screen the away team upon arrival. The last thing we need is to being something nasty back with us?”

Heinrich nodded. “No, no, you’re right.” There were too many variables at play. If anything, giving the away team a quick exam upon returning might help isolate some of those variables.

“We could say its part of the decontamination process for being so close to the radiation?”

“I don’t think there’s any reason to hide what we are doing. We can’t explain what happened, we’re trying to isolate variables, make sure there isn’t anything we might have contracted. I’m sure the others will understand.”
