(Exeter - Shuttle bay 1- Marine – 2ndLT - Naci Tendees  - 0938)

Naci listened to the speech of LieutenantColonel Na’Rel with relaxed attention. This was not the first time hadhad been through one of these and he was sure that this was not going to be thelast. 

~Good old welcome speech to make usall feel at home~

When he had become a TalKalot was so new, he squeaked, he might had found these types of speechesworrying but now after decades of rising through the ranks and being a marinein two different originations he had gotten use to it. He also wanted to knowwhat type of officer this Na`Rel and he felt that this was going to be aninteresting deployment.

~Remember Naci respectthe rank even if you are not sure about the officer~

"Yesterday the security department of the Exeter ran tactical drills, twoscenarios. One scenario involving reclaiming the bridge from a hostile forceand the other scenario involved defending main engineering from hostiles.”

 

~So dowell and we sleep in our own beds. Do badly and we sleep here. I have spelt inworse places that a shuttle~

 

"Ineed you all to select two teams of three to complete these drills. Each teamwill only be permitted the use of one type 2 phaser, one stun grenade and 3standard issue tactical knives. This is anexercise of trust, initiative and execution."

 

~Team building makes senseas we don`t know each other. Should be fun. It will be good to get to dosomething after this transit~

Na`Rel spokeloudly. 

 

"1st Lieutenant Roberts is exempt from the drills and therefore has no say inthe selection process. As she is our drop pilot, but she is no less free of theconsequences of failing than any of you are." 

 

~Luckyher but what about T`Rix he is also a flight officer. Ow well he can fight hisown battles~


"I'm taking volunteers, I am one such volunteer, so Ineed 5 more."  

 

Master`s voice filled the space left by Na`Rel`s. He steppedforward with the words of the old general and volunteers ringing in his ears.

 

“I volunteer Sir.”
