 Mission: Andromeda's Chain
Day: 1
Stardate: 2446.01.03

(USS Exeter –Broken Bow – COO LTjg Paul Sleeford 04:56)

“I can do that. We won’t have a lot of time. We are going to have to move fast.”
“Well only need thirty seconds, once we stop I can pop the hatch to the Jeffries tubes while you shut her down “

(USS Exeter –Broken Bow -COO LTjg Paul Sleeford - 05:34)
Paul watched as the Exeter slowly appeared, not shots where fired at them, no hails either, the ship looked dead in space, like the entire crew where either dead or sleeping.
“Call the Exeter and tell them that we have a casualty along with heavy damage and need priority clearance for landing in shuttle bay one.”
Nodding Paul tapped the comms panel,
“Broken Bow to Exeter, Broken Bow to Exeter. We are declaring a medical emergency, request priority clearance to bay one”

“There is no pretend we really are flying on a wing and a prayer.”
Paul watched for a return signal or request for visual confirmation, hearing Ire muttering about wings and prayers he looked out of the screen he was not an expert pilot by any means but he could tell the angle was off, they where going to hit hard. Boosting what power he had to the SiF/IDF systems he hoped it was enough.
“Here goes nothing.”
As sure threw the small ship through a series of tight turns to bleed of speed, Paul felt his stomach rebel, swallowing down he knew this was not the time.
“This landing might have slightly less finesse then usual.”
Laughing at the absurd comment Paul turned to Ire, “You mean your going to crash again”
As Ire brought the runabout in, it dropped like a stone in a well, hitting the deck plating it spun in a shower of sparks, as the view from the screen spun, Paul knew his stomach wouldn’t take much more of this treatment. As they came to a halt against the wall of plot one, Paul wondered how much of that was an act and skilful flying or how much it had been real
“Another successful landing.
Paul watched the small smile creep across Ire’s face and shook his head.
“Get the deck hatch open while I power every thing down. We would not want us to survive the landing just to blow up.”
“Okay give me a hand to move sleeping beauty to the transporter, I’ll beam in to the far side of the bay, oh and while I’m at it I’ll rig the runabout to emit a radiation warning, should buy us a few minutes.”
(Reply Williams)
As T’Kel vanished from the pad, Paul opened the rear door banging against the wall of the shuttle bay with aloud clang.
“Oh well so much for surprises”
Popping the hatch he motioned for Ire to go first,” downwards slope the a right turn, wait there”
