(USS Exeter - Ready room - Lieutenant Greta Smith - 0502)


“Right. Pack your bags kids, we’re checking out.”


 ~let's hope we don't meet any resistance.~ Greta thought to herself as she
checked her side arm and downed the last of her drink.

“So...you ever see that old movie? Who wants to be Butch? Who gets to be
sundance?”



"Well, with no disrespect to Mr Fuller here, he is much more of a Buth than
I am. Lieutenant Sunday evening at your service." She replied with a wink.

 "Ma'am,  what if they find out we are planning to leave?"


“Relax, they’re not the Bolivian Army, besides, we’re going to leave by the
other exit. Runs down adjacent to a turbolift shaft, connects to the
construction ducts, access all areas baby.” She smiled again. “We need to
go down a ways, it then branches off a bit, but we need to hit sickbay.
Answers are there. Fuller...take point. Greta in the middle keep ‘em
peeled, I’ll lock up and hide our tracks. Move out.”


"As you wish Ma'am. " Greta said and waited for Fuller to descend. Climbing
in after him, Greta sighed. ~I regret not paying more attention in PT~

“Rear is secure, move out. When we get to sickbay look sharp, the vents run
around, we may be able to access what we need without alerting the whole
deck.”


Greta smiled down at Fuller, "At least we’re going down. Keep your phaser
at the ready."

As they climbed down in silence, Greta began to think about a lot of
things. What was happening here and now… what was happening on the
shuttles… who amongst the crew were under this woman's thrall and how were
they going to take back the ship.

As they reached the bottom of their climb, Greta immediately assumed point.
Being the security officer, it came naturally for her. Keeping an eye on
where the Commander was and scanning ahead, Greta glanced back, "all clear."
