NRPG : Apologies for the delay – its been a rough couple weeks

Mission: Andromeda's Chain
Day: 1
Stardate: 2446.01.03

(USS Exeter – Engineering Maintenance Access - ACEO Lieutenant Janice Hammerfield – 0500)

"Selfishly, I want to make my way to sickbay, need to find Cerise, make sure she is ok."

"I understand,” Janice nodded and tried to think of the bigger picture for a moment.

"Still, right now you're acting Chief, you're the ranking officer, Janice, I'm open to your suggestions. We can try and see if we can recover parts of the ship, or make our way elsewhere see if we can find allies."

A burst of phaser fire echoed down the tube, “You hear that...” Janice looked to the side quickly deciding to split them so that if she ran into something unpleasant ahead, “Take that tube to sickbay. Find Cerise and sabotage anything you can on the way. Failing that try to get to the rest of the crew free. Ill check this out.”

“Stay safe,” she tapped his shoulder and headed towards the sounds of the phaser fire.

Still only having a half used plasma touch she crawled down the tube hearing some murmuring and foot steps clinking along a catwalk. Quietly she braced herself up against an entry point to the catwalk and watched a shadow pass over it. Flipping out quickly she grabbed whomever it was and pressed the plasma torch up against their back, “Have you complied?”

“Well that’s a relief,” she let go of him and put her touch away, “Are you ok Mister Moxley?” Janice took a step back and seen the guards on the floor, “been busy I see.”

Janice moved over and picked up one of their rifles for herself and strapped a phaser down, “The crew are being held on decks eight and seventeen – I’m looking for a way to break them out. Until then I want everything we can lay out hands on sabotaged in some way. You with me?” She pulled back the charge in the rifle to make sure it was at full and then set it to stun with the rifle giving a small click.
