guess." Victoria said, trying to catch her breath.  "So I don't really know
too much about it other that."

"So which way do we go?"

"Not really sure, what does your...." Before she could finish she was
shushed by Liara.

> "We should go now." Violet whispered. "If we hurry we can get into the
Jeffries tubes before anyone arrives."

Liara headed to the panel that led to the Jeffries tube. She pulled gently
and it came away with a small thunk. She put her finger to her lip and
motioned for Violet to climb inside.

It had been just in time as three people in Starfleet uniforms passed by
just inches from them. ~friends or foes~ she wondered. Liara held her
breath until they had rounded the corner. “I didn’t know any of those, did
you get a good look at all?”

"Do you have weapons in your quarters, because if so then we should head
there first and stock up."

“Yes I do” she said, I can also check up on my Sehlat, I need to make sure
he is safe. He likes to sleep for 16 hours at a time so I can hide him.”
The Jeffries tube felt close and hot as they carried on. Liara put her hand
up  turned her head and whispered. “We are about to go past sickbay and I
would like to know what is going on there. As we go past take a look for
me? But we must be very, very quiet like church mice.” She wasn’t sure
where she had found that analogy but left it there. They reached the screen
above sickbay as the Jeffries tube stopped a minute and continued around
the corner moving on slowly stopping a good way away from sick bay. “Did
you see anything? she asked Violet.

They carried on for what seemed like forever until at last Liara sighed
with relief. “We are here”. She scanned her quarters as best she could and
she saw Puss looking at her through the screen. She turned sitting and
pushed as gently as she could on the screen with her feet as it gave way
with a loud rattle. She pulled herself out to be licked repeatedly by Puss.
The enormous, giant seven clawed razor toothed cat sat and looked at Violet
still in the tube and licked his lips. Liara smiled at Violet extending her
arms to help her. “Dont worry about him, if you can scratch him behind his
ears he will love you forever.

"I’m guessing being stranded in unknown space with a full mutiny is not how
you wanted to start your time in Starfleet."

Liara smiled wickedly“not really but it looks like it could turn out to be
fun. Now where are those weapons?”
