~This is odd.~ Heinrich thought to himself as he shook the tricorder, smacked it on its side, and gave Ronnie a second reading. The tricorder readings seemed slightly off, like a bad thermometer. Thinking his tricorder may be faulty unnerved him.

"So whats the damage doc. I feel like I may have cracked a rib or two. But I can still walk.” Ronnie said. The test finished with the same results, all seeming slightly off.

“Yeah, yeah…” He said absent mindedly. Some things are more important than a broken bone. 

"So do I get a clean bill of health?”

“You get a clean bill of health, yeah. I’m not so sure about this tricorder.”

“Yep, damn tricorder is on the fritz. If these readings are correct you’ve lost two years of your life.”
