Mission: Andromeda's Chain
Day: 1
Stardate: 2446.01.03
(USS Exeter - Nine and Dine - Caity Dubois - 0253)
“There...best of both worlds.” She passed over the mug to Caity then poured
a small amount in her own. “So...you want to tell me what it is I already
know?”
Closing her eyes, Caity sighed, “What is it exactly you think you already
know?”
Trixie leant forward, closing the space between them, her heady perfume
hanging in tendrils in the air, almost enticing, daring. “So...Someone was
in for a coffee not long ago, gave up the gossip, seems that his trial was
to watch the other trials and make sure it was fair...watched you ice your
girlfriend…”
Biting her lip, she opened her eyes and looked at her, “You’re point in
mentioning it?”
“Saw her task too...I shouldn’t say this, but civvie support together am I
right?” Trixie smiled, sipping her coffee. “Said that her task was a mirror
of yours...and she was the coldest bitch that they’d ever seen.” Trixie
leaned further forward, encroaching just at the friendly edge of Caity’s
friend zone, her empathy assisting her adjusting the distance to maximise
sultry affect, and minimise over friendly encroachment. “Did you know that
the Commander has seized Command of the Ship?”
“Okay, two things. Firstly, Ailynn wouldn’t seize command without an
exceptionally good reason. Secondly, just who do you think you are?”
(Reply Bell)
“No, you come into my bar and you spout a lot of nonsense about a situation
you know nothing about and talk to me like that?”
(Reply Bell)
“I did what i did… I watched the woman i love die because of a decision i
made, was pushed into… How dare you sit there and judge me!”
(Reply Bell)
“You have absolutely no idea what happened, what i went through and whoever
saw that trial is wrong. Not only for talking about it so openly but for
talking about it to you.” Caity put her head in her hands as the image of
Ailynn choking infront of her flashed into her mind. She knew that she was
shaking and tears were coming but she had reached the point of being past
caring.
