Mission: Andromeda's Chain
Day: 1
Stardate: 2446.01.03
(USS Exeter - Bridge - Lieutenant Greta Smith - 0433)
As the shooting started, Greta's body went into preservation mode as she
dropped behind her console.
Taking a look to her left, she saw one of her colleagues drop from the
phaser fire and she growled slightly under her breath. Her hand went to her
phaser at her hip as voices began to talk,
As the voice she recognised as Billy spike to the Commander, greta stood
slowly and took in the scene, hand never leaving her sidearm.
Something was indeed not right here. Crewmates, people she knew and worked
alongside were different. Looking over at her friend, Trinity, she knew
that she was one of them. Her eyes were different and her demeanour had
changed,
“You didn’t set to kill...pity.” Trinity said. “They’ll be trouble later,
leave no hangers on.” She spoke with a venom as she caught Greta’s eye.
“Kill them all, it’s no less than they deserve, failure to hail the Empress
should be punishable by death.”
Greta's father had always said that her strength was her ability to chose
her friends but now she was regretting her choice. Standing tall, she
glares and said, in a broad Scottish accent,
"Ah, shut it, you dobber."
"Now then," Billy said addressing those still standing. "Back away from
your stations and gather in the middle. Your empress has need of you."
Greta did as the others did. Stood shoulder to shoulder with her colleagues
and watched as the events took hold. Never taking her hand from her
sidearm, she knew that any movement she made was being watched and, if she
did open fire, the others would suffer so she waited.
(Reply Bridge, any)

NRPG: For those wondering, Dobber is Scottish slang. Lol
