(Toronto - Canada - Pinewood Studios - Dressing Room seven - COO LTjg Paul
Sleeford / Saul Pickford 10:50)
Wandering back from seeing Janice, Paul was deep in thought, arriving at
his dressing room door he paused, somewhere out in the city of Toronto and
its surrounding areas where three hundred and fifty plus people who were
lost and probably scared. He didn’t believe for one second that only the
command staff and department heads were here.
Sitting at his small desk, Paul picked up the folder containing the script,
reading the list of ‘crew’ he noticed that some characters were listed as
recurring. As he read on at the bottom of the page was a string of letters
and characters. Closing his eyes to drag out the memories of ancient
history classes he remembered they were called a web link or something
similar. Grabbing his communications device he stared at it for several
seconds and then tapped the browser icon. While he waited for what seemed
like years for it to open.
Slowly and carefully entering the characters he waited while the screen
changed, showing a picture of the Exeter in orbit of a planet with an over
stylized starfield behind it. Reading the information Paul bit his lip to
stop laughing. Whoever wrote this had no idea. Finding the crew list he
read the names, grabbing his script he pulled open drawers looking for a
pencil or a pen. Sitting there he placed a small mark by the names on the
script against those on the screen. It appeared that all the command staff
and departmental heads and assistant heads where listed, that left over
three hundred people unaccounted for.
