"You're here, so what better time than now. " Amber motioned to a chair at a well lit station. Heinrich stared at the station in confusion, at first. But soon realized he was meant to sit there in the glare and the naked mirror.

“Oh, sure.” He said as he moved over and sat down. Amber began to take out her make up. "Your eyes look different.”

“What do you mean, different?”

"I mean they're the same color, but less intense. Usually you look so pissed off. It's nice to see you in a good mood for once.” She said with a laugh. "I'm sorry it's been a wild morning."

“Tell me about it.” Heinrich said. “I should have been here a half hour ago, or so I’ve been told.” He waited a beat, not sure how much he should say, or could say. “I don’t know if I’ve been myself since I got up this morning.”

“I can’t explain it. I just feel strange. Like I woke up in a whole new world. So, anyway, what will this all entail? Explain it to me like I have no clue what’s going on."
