Mission: Lights, Camera….Action?

As time went on things just became more confusing for Stan. Firstly although he had asked for no distractions. A small group of people began to grow around Jeff and Stan.
They all seemed to know Stan but kept calling him this Brad fellow. Plus there was something a little off about them. They were also the most vanity driven people. Stan had ever met.

His inner jacket pocket began beeping and vibrating. A women or man  ( Stan could not tell ) who looked like his or  her face was painted on spoke.

“ Oh Brad darling. Sounds like you have a text or two ducks.” It said

What did text or two ducks mean?

More reached into his inner pocket and pulled out a  small thin oblong device. It had a large screen with an indented button at the bottom. On the other side was a small picture of  a silver fruit that had a piece missing. He pressed his thumb on the button and the screen lit up. A menu of little boxes with pictures in appeared.

In the top left of the screen there was a green box with a white speech bubble. It had the number two above it. 

“ Ooh let me have a nose!” The painted faced him or her said. Grabbing the device.

Stan grabbed it back. The him or her had a very weak grip.

“ Manners....” The him or her said.

Stan tapped the green icon with the white speech bubble. The screen changed to another menu. Stan picked the two most recent messages. 

The first said:- “ Filming for your scene moved to afternoon. Be at Pinewood at 13:00 latest.”

The second said:-“ Hello sexy don’t forget drinks at Minty’s tonight at 21:00 love KW”

Stan tried another of the little boxes. He pressed one with the shape of a newspaper on the inside.More almost dropped the device. 

On the screen there was a large title in big black letters. It said :- Today filming begins for season two of Star Trek Exeter. At Pinewood film studios Toronto Canada. Underneath it was pictures of the crew. But the names were all wrong.Like Sleeford was down as Saul Pickford. But it was Paul’s face! Stan had to get to this Pinewood. The answers to all this craziness had to be there!
